Editing Services

A well-edited book creates a better reader experience and strengthens your credibility as an author. Little Red Rocking Chair Publishing team of writers and editors,  best known as the Red Team, is equipped to read and evaluate a particular project, at any stage of development, and apply publishing guidelines to your manuscript while maintaining your unique voice.

To begin, our team will consult with you to determine your specific needs. You will then receive a quote based on the type and length of your material. Moving forward, we will then read your work, provide written comments, and meet with you one-on-one, either in-person  or by phone/Zoom.

Developmental Editing – $.07 per word
A polished book requires multiple rounds of editing. With our Developmental Editing we will provide two rounds of editing focused on strengthening both the content and technical elements of your manuscript.

A high-quality, marketable book begins and ends with solid writing. With our Line Editing service, a professional editor will review your manuscript and provide recommendations for improving the structure and flow, as well as review for consistency in grammar, spelling, and punctuation.

Line Editing – $.03 per word

Our editors have an immaculate eye for detail. We not only cater to books of all genres, but also to short stories, novellas, blogs, query letters, book proposals, scripts, and magazine articles.
